The statement adds that the meeting was organised by the Council of Europe and will be mainly devoted to the memory of the holocaust and commitment to a Europe of freedom, rule of law, democracy and tolerance.
In talks with participants of the meting, Obradovic voiced Serbia’s commitment to European values.
He also acquainted them with Serbia’s education programme on genocide and the holocaust, whose goal is to understand the past and strengthen young students’ faith in the joint future of all European peoples.
Obradovic visited the Dachau concentration camp and laid wreaths at the monument to victims of Nazism who died in this notorious camp, adds the statement.
