The Ministry stated that at today’s session the Council members agreed to give their expert opinion to a commission comprising representatives of the Ministry for the National Investment Plan, regarding the choice of a competent service provider, in a public procurement procedure.
A public call for the public procurement of a research service for building and specifying Serbian national brands and the service of development, drafting and implementation of the strategy was announced on October 24, in the Official Gazzete, the Politika daily and the Financial Times.
The Council members hailed the government’s decision to appoint two new members, Milica Cubrilo and Miodrag Stojkovic and assessed that their reputation and competence will contribute to Serbia’s positioning.
The Serbian Promotion Council appointed Director of the Belgrade Philharmonic Orchestra, Ivan Tasovac, as its president.
The Council also comprises experts Ana Trbovic, Predrag Markovic and Vojislav Zanetic.
The statement says that Jelica Minic will no longer be a member of the Council, due to her commitments abroad. The Ministry of Trade and Services will recommend her replacement.
The Council will not give statements before the end of the public procurement procedure.
