Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic will meet with representatives of the UN Secretariat and Security Council member countries in New York today.
Jeremic will inform his collocutors that Belgrade will not oppose any reconfiguration of the international civilian presence in Kosovo-Metohija as long as this is done according to Resolution 1244 and the Serbian Constitution, with the Security Council’s approval.
The Minister will once again state that the international civilian presence in Kosovo must remain under UN authority and status-neutral, and must respect Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
