President of the Serbian Chamber of Commerce Milos Bugarin announced today that Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic will open the Serbian national exhibition in Krasnodar, Russia, to be held from November 5 to 7, in which 55 Serbian companies will participate.
In a statement to the Radio Television Serbia, Bugarin said that Cvetkovic, as well as Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic, representatives of the Serbian Investment and Export Promotion Agency and hosts will also speak at the investment conference which will be held as part of the exhibition.
According to him, the goal is to show Serbia in the best possible light as a good investment target.
He explained that the exhibition is of national character and will showcase agricultural, food, chemical and pharmaceutical industries, clothes and shoe production and some other economic branches manufacturing consumer goods.
Bugarin announced that several round table discussions will be held at which construction, textile, food and furniture industries will be discussed to help Serbian producers return to the Russian market.
Speaking about trade relations, he recalled that Serbia has a free trade agreement with Russia according to which over 90% of its products are on the customs-free list.
Bugarin added that the list was expanded in September which will be verified at the upcoming meeting of the mixed Serbian-Russian committee to be held before the end of the year.
