Serbian Foreign Minister Vuk Jeremic will travel to New York tomorrow, where he is due to meet with representatives of the UN Secretariat and Security Council member countries.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Jeremic will convey at these meetings that Belgrade will not oppose any reconfiguration of the international civilian presence in Kosovo as long as this is done according to Resolution 1244 and the Serbian Constitution with Security Council approval.
Jeremic will state that the international civilian presence in Kosovo must remain subject to UN authority, status-neutral and respect Serbia’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.
