Serbia, Libya to improve military cooperation

Serbian Defence Minister Dragan Sutanovac talked today with a Libyan Defence Ministry delegation about improving military cooperation between the two countries.
According to a statement issued by the Defence Ministry, the Libyan delegation headed by Major General Al Kadiki, expressed interest in continuing the education of Libyan officers in Serbia, as well as engaging the services of Serbian experts to train Libyan personnel in Libya.
They said that Libya is particularly interested in cooperating with Serbian technical teams, who could be hired to upgrade aircraft and military equipment.
Sutanovac expressed gratitude to Libya for its principled support of Serbia, regarding the issue of Kosovo’s unilaterally declared independence.
