Draft law on national minorities’ councils completed

The Ministry of Human and Minority Rights stated that it formed an expert team which in the past four days composed the draft law on national minorities’ councils.
The statement adds that the expert team, comprising Minister of Human and Minority Rights Svetozar Ciplic, professor Tibor Varadi, professor Marijana Pajvancic, provincial secretary for regulations, administration and national minorities Tamas Korhec, State Secretary at the Ministry Human and Minority Rights Aniko Hajnrih Muskinja, advisor at the Ministry Gordana Mataija, OSCE representatives Christina Davis and Jelena Jokanovic and consultant Zarko Markovic, signed the Draft law on national minorities’ councils which will be sent to all councils for discussion.
Once the deadline for suggestions and objections expires the working group will meet again to finalise the law and forward it to the government for adoption, concludes the statements.
