The executive and supervisory boards of the Diaspora Fund held a session in the Ministry of Finance.
At the session held on September 18 the government decided to set aside these funds.
President of the executive board of the Fund Miloje Milicevic said that the fund paid €3.4 million to support the October 2000 changes.
Milicevic said the Fund will continue to help and noted that €100,000 will be allocated for children in Kosovo while the same amount will be used to reconstruct facilities for displaced persons and refugees.
He said that the total debt of the state, with pending interests, is €4.996 million.
Members of the Fund expressed hope that the government will settle all debts to the Fund and announced opening an office in Belgrade.
