The Serbian government’s EU Integration Office, in cooperation with the Institute for European Politics in Berlin, and InWEnt – Capacity Building International, a German organisation for international human resources development has organised two-day seminars on the implementation of the Stabilisation and Association Agreement (SAA) and IPA funds management.
According to a statement issued by the EU Integration Office, both seminars are part of an InWEnt programme for public administration in Serbia. The purpose of the programme is to provide information about latest regulations on EU company law, as well as an exchange of experiences with experts from EU member countries.
Serbian government representatives Director of the EU Integration Office Tanja Miscevic, Assistant Minister of Finance Gordana Lazarevic and Director of Personnel Management Jasmina Damjanovic stated that this is valuable support and trained experts will help accelerate Serbia’s EU integration.
It was particularly emphasized that participants in the seminar are expected to address the needs of public administration in Serbia in the projects for which they will seek IPA funds.
