Serbia, Romanian air forces perform "Presretac 2008"

Members of the Serbian and Romanian air and anti aircraft forces today carried out their joint military exercise “Presretac 2008".

The goal of the exercise was to coordinate procedures in case of an air jack in the vicinity of the Serbian and Romanian border.
Two Romanian MIG 21s and two Serbian MIG 21s, as well as two MIG 29s and an An 26 aircraft took part in the exercise, along with anti-terrorist units and military police.
Present at the exercise were Serbian Army Chief of General Staff Zdravko Ponos and commanders of the Romanian and Serbian air forces Dragan Katanic and Konstantin Kroitoru.
