Karanovic said that mental disturbances are second biggest problem of Serbian population, which resulted from decades of stress.
She said that the number of mental disturbances in Serbia in the period 1999-2002 rose 13.5%, which came as a consequence of wars, sanctions, bombing and immigration, with nearly 500,000 refugees and displaced persons.
The conference, which closes on October 22, has gathered over 30 foreign lecturers and will include five plenary lectures, 11 symposiums, one workshop, three sessions and nine satellite symposiums.
