Advanced Standing Dialogue, European Commission to hold meeting

The Serbian EU Integration Office stated that representatives of the Advanced Standing Dialogue and the European Commission will hold a sectoral meeting on October 16 in Belgrade to discuss reforms in information society, audio-visual policy and research and innovation.
The statement adds that experts from the Ministry of Telecommunication and Information Society, Ministry of Science and Technological Development, Ministry of Justice, Ministry of Trade and Services, Ministry of Finance and Ministry of Culture, as well as other competent institutions, will present the government’s activities on implementing the strategy for information society, as well as laws on electronic trade and the protection of personal data.
They will pay special attention to electronic communication networks, cooperation in the audio-visual field, progress in innovation and research, strengthening administrative capacities and the need for technical support in these areas, concludes the statement.
