Government to set up expert groups for gas arrangement with Russia

The Serbian government stated today that in order to efficiently implement the agreement with Russia on cooperation in oil and gas industries, it decided to set up three expert groups, at the proposal by the Ministry of Energy and Mining.
The statement adds that the three expert groups will comprise representatives from the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Environmental Protection and Spatial Planning, Ministry of Labour and Social Policy, the Serbian Property Directorate, the Serbian Public Attorneys’ Office and representatives from NIS, Novi Sad, and Srbijagas, Novi Sad.
The following expert groups were thereby formed:
1. for expert assistance in the realisation of the project to construct the underground gas storage facility at the exhausted gas field Banatski Dvor 2. for participation in the process to close the agreement on the sale of the state’s share in the joint stock oil industry Naftna Industrija Srbije (NIS), Novi Sad 3. for expert assistance in the realisation of the project South Stream gas pipe line.
The following expert groups were thereby formed:
