Samardzic-Markovic to lead Serbian delegation to Kiev conference

Belgrade, 7 October 2008

Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic will lead a Serbian delegation to the European Conference of Youth Ministers in Kiev, organised by the Council of Europe.

The Ministry of Youth and Sports says in a statement that the main goal of the ministerial meeting is to discuss and adopt Agenda 2020, a document which will guide European youth policy before 2020.

Besides the ministers, the conference will be attended by representatives of the Council of Europe Parliamentary Assembly and high representatives of international organisations.

Samardzic-Markovic will address the first conference panel discussion themed “Youth Policy Measures Promoting Equal Opportunities for Boys and Girls”, concludes the statement.
