Serbian Minister of Public Administration and Local Self-Government and President of the Coordinating Body for Presevo, Bujanovac and Medvedja Milan Markovic visited today Medvedja, where he talked with municipal president Slobodan Draskovic about the situation and problems in the municipality.
Markovic announced that the Belgrade business school department will be opened in Medvedja soon.
Its opening will contribute to the development of southern Serbia, because Serbs from Medvedja and neighbouring areas and Albanians, who will be able to attend classes in their mother tongue and can study there. The department’s graduates will be granted diplomas of Belgrade University, said Markovic.
One of the priorities of Serbian government and the Coordinating Body is the development of agriculture.
Markovic talked with the Medvedja municipal president about the privatised Lece mine in Medvedja and announced opening new jobs before end-year.
During the day Markovic will hold meetings with Bujanovac and Presevo municipal presidents Saip Kamberi and Nader Sadiku, as well as with MP Riza Halimi.
