It also unanimously adopted the proposed agreement on joint investment between Serbia and Fiat which will set up a joint company, in which Fiat, as a strategic partner, will be a majority owner of 67% of shares, whereas the state will have the minority stake of 33%.
The government authorised Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Economy and Regional Development Mladjan Dinkic to sign the agreement on behalf of the state.
The government was informed on the Memorandum on Understanding which Serbia will tomorrow sign with members of the Fiat Group’s subsidiary Iveco and Magneti Marelli on the production of buses, trucks and components for the car industry.
