The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for the former Yugoslavia (ICTY) decided at its session today to send documentation and responses to the Office of the Prosecutor, in line with its four requests, and to release three witnesses from the obligation of keeping official secrets for the purposes of this court’s proceedings.
Positive response was made to one request by the defence related to submitting documentation needed for preparing indictees’ defence before the ICTY.
The National Council will in the upcoming period hold regular sessions every two weeks and will duly respond to requests of both the prosecution and defence at the ICTY.
