Law amendments to enable ownership over construction land

Serbian Minister of Environment and Spatial Planning Oliver Dulic stated last night that the announced amendments to the Law on planning and construction will enable private ownership over construction land.

Appearing in the news at the Radio Television Serbia, Dulic said that the new Constitution from 2006 defines this area and enables private ownership over construction land, which will now simply be incorporated in the Law on planning and construction so that those who buy the land can actually own it.
According to him, the new law will solve the issue of restitution of land parcels in the city that are not in dispute.
We must wait for the comprehensive resolution of the issue of restitution and denationalisation in order to solve the problems of people whose property was seized after World War II, specified Dulic.
He also added that amendments to the law are just a beginning, after which a comprehensive campaign will ensue, which will not only include the ministries and the government, but also all institutions that are part of the process of raising a building at a location.
