The agreement will be signed in attendance of the two countries’ top officials, as this is the largest investment in the Serbian car industry ever.
Attending the signing will be Fiat President Sergio Marchionne, Serbian Prime Minister Mirko Cvetkovic, Deputy Prime Minister Mladjan Dinkic, while the attendance of Italian Foreign Minister Franco Frattini was also announced.
Representatives of the Ministry and Fiat expressed satisfaction as agreement was reached on all details of the deal.
Altavilla presented Dinkic with the plans of Iveco and other Fiat’s companies to invest in Serbia which are worth several millions of euros.
They also agreed to start drafting new investment plans, which will open several thousands new jobs, according to a statement.
