In a statement to the news agency FoNet, Jeremic said that he will thank the Indian government for its principled support and will seek Indian support in the UN General Assembly, which is extremely important because India is one of the most influential countries in Asia.
He said that he will also hold talks on bilateral cooperation with India, an emerging global power, the world’s largest democracy and one of the most dynamic economies in the world.
India is exploring new opportunities around the world. Belgrade and Serbia can prove to be a very interesting market for Indian investments, said Jeremic, adding that cultural and military cooperation will also be discussed.
