The Ministry for the National Investment Plan stated that Ambassador Pap conveyed the Hungarian government’s interest in the structure and content of NIP and said that the Hungarian Ministry of Economy and National Development invited the Serbian Ministry for the NIP to cooperate and exchange experiences.
Pap said that the Hungarian investment in national projects from the European funds is €22 billion for the period from 2007 to 2013 and stressed that large investments cannot be constricted within one country’s borders, but they have an impact on the development of the whole region.
Kalanovic said that the Hungarian experience on project implementation is valuable because Hungary passed through the phase Serbia is currently in.
Serbia is a very interesting location for foreign investors. Our country is developing fast and wants to improve its economy and become an equal partner in the region, said Kalanovic.
