Speaking at a seminar on EU integration at the Faculty of Political Sciences, Miscevic expressed dissatisfaction with the decision by the EU Council of Ministers, but stressed that the process of joining the EU is always as successful as the country which is engaged in that process.
Our goal should be to go deeper and further in the integration process and continue with drafting of the national integration plan, said Miscevic and stressed that Serbia should not think of stopping the integration process because of the EU decision.
According to Miscevic, the plan, which is a strategy for implementing the agreement, will determine activities to be undertaken by the Serbian government during the next four years, so that in 2012, the country is ready to take over obligations ensuing from EU membership.
I hope that we will succeed in completing the national integration plan by the end of the month and thereby confirm our clear determination to continue with EU integration, concluded Miscevic.
