The statement says that the Ministry of Trade and Services and SIEPA have helped the showcasing of Serbian companies at the Frankfurt fair in order to directly support the domestic economy in its efforts to present itself on foreign markets as successfully as possible, specify its products and services more favourably, improve its cooperation with foreign partners and boost exports.
At the Serbian national stand at Automechanika, 11 car manufacturers will be showcased which possess considerable export capacity, the ability to improve cooperation with foreign partners and initiate considerable export activities. Minister of Trade and Services Slobodan Milosavljevic will also be part of the delegation.
Participation in the famous German car fair will be an opportunity to draw foreign investments and to increase competition on the domestic market, which will enable the transfer of their hands-on experience in the area of trade and services.
Organisation of Serbia’s appearance at Automechanika car show is only one in a series of activities which will have a direct impact on the successful presentation of Serbian economic potentials, stimulate export and reduce the foreign trade deficit in accordance with the Serbian Export Improvement Strategy for the period 2009–2011.
In an attempt to secure a wider market for the placement of domestic products, the Ministry of Trade and Services, in cooperation with SIEPA and the Serbian Chamber of Commerce, carried out various development programmes which contributed to the enhancement of competition in car industry, concludes the statement.
