A delegation of Serbia-Montenegro, led by Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic, attended a session of the World Health Organisation (WTO) Regional Committee for Europe, held from Sept 6 to 9 in Copenhagen. The Ministry of Health stated that Milosavljevic had a series of bilateral meetings with ministers and heads of the delegations of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Macedonia, Hungary, Italy, Greece and Norway.
The talks focused on possibilities for expanding bilateral cooperation, especially in the fields of health system reform, expert and other forms of assistance, as well as exchange of health workers, information and experience.
The delegation also met with Director of WTO Regional Office Marc Danzon and discussed his visit to Serbia-Montenegro in late November and future WTO projects in the country.
