Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic held last night a meeting of his Ministry’s Foreign Affairs Council, which concerned Serbia’s initiative to ask the International Court of Justice (ICJ) for an advisory opinion on the legality of Kosovo-Metohija’s unilaterally proclaimed independence.
The Ministry says in a statement that Jeremic briefed council members on the Ministry’s activities regarding the initiative seeking the ICJ’s opinion at the UN General Assembly.
Jeremic demanded the opinion of council members on this delicate issue of great importance for Serbia’s foreign policy activities, adds the statement.
