Serbian government members have been presented with a regulatory reform project in a move to eliminate a large number of unnecessary procedures and regulations that hamper investments.
Business operations costs are expected to be reduced by 25% while the functioning of companies will be made easier, along with the investment climate improving.
An electronic data base of regulations allowing entrepreneurs and companies to access regulations necessary for their operations will be made.
The government will form a unit for implementation of the overall regulatory reform, which should last 15 months.
Businesspeople and citizens will be able to give their opinion in order to establish the main barriers to business operations in Serbia.
