Serbian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Science and Technological Development Bozidar Djelic and president of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) Thomas Mirow reached an agreement today on EBRD’s support to Serbia’s further intensified reform, especially in the field of road and railway infrastructure and energy.

Djelic and Mirow agreed on EBRD’s support to the National Council for Competitiveness and the work on the establishment of the investment fund for support to small and medium-sized enterprises.
Mirow announced EBRD’s participation in implementation of projects financed from IPA through co-financing. Serbia will receive €1 billion in non-refundable funds from the EU in the period 2007-2011, according to a statement.
