After the meeting with Austrian Vice-Chancellor and Federal Minister of Transport, Innovation and Technology Hubert Gorbach, Bubalo said that ATB Company is interested in Sever, while Ralf wants to buy Valjevo’s Srbijanka.
Bubalo said that today’s meeting was aimed at improving the two countries’ economic cooperation. The Austrian Vice-Chancellor hailed the founding of the Business Council of Serbia and Austria, which will be set up of three working group on transport, banking and industry.
According to Bubalo, the Austrian official gave the priority to the group in charge of transport and infrastructure, which could start its work immediately.
Gorbach said that the cooperation and bilateral exchange between Austria and Serbia will intensify by setting up this Business Council and working groups.
He announced that the Austrian government has already initiated a study to establish the best site for reloading of goods on the Danube River.
Gorbach pointed out the interest of his government to boost direct investment in Serbia by taking part in privatisation process. He said he will try to mediate in securing international funds for financing various projects in Serbia. He said that the Business Council will serve as a good basis for improvement of two countries’ cooperation, the Beta news agency reported.
