The Serbian Ministry of Infrastructure invited all domestic hauliers involved in road transport between Serbia and Croatia to develop their transport services in line with the law and called upon the Croatian Ministry of the Sea, Transport and Infrastructure to continue with the satisfactory cooperation in road transport between these two countries.
The Ministry recalls in the statement that based on the bilateral agreement between Serbia and Croatia, an agreement was reached on quotas of 10,000 universal licences for all vehicle categories and 35,000 universal licences for vehicles of at least the Euro 2 category.
Based on the 2008 Protocol between the two countries, they agreed to exchange an additional quota of 12,000 universal licences, reads the statement and adds that conflicts between certain hauliers must not jeopardise Serbia’s or Croatia’s road transport sector, which should be in line with international regulations and bilateral agreements between the countries.
