Position and status of Serbian community in Macedonia improved

State Secretary of the Ministry for Diaspora Miodrag Jaksic spoke today with State Secretary of the Macedonian Ministry of Culture Dragan Nedeljkovic on the launch of joint projects whose aim would be to promote the position and status of the Serbian community living in Macedonia.
Concrete programmes supported by both ministries will include cultural and art activities as well as educational actions for Serbian children in Macedonia.
“The Days of Serbian Culture in Macedonia” will be organised at the end of the year. Other state institutions of these two neighbourly countries are also expected to give support, according to a statement.
