The letter reads as follows:
“Honourable Mr. Dimitrov,
I have received very unpleasant news of explosions in front of the Piccadilly retail stores, which are now owned by Serbian companies. As the explosions took place in the popular holiday resort of Varna, which many Serbian tourists visit, this news has indeed been disturbing for the whole of Serbia.
Therefore, on behalf of the Serbian government, I insist that you make sure that the authorities uncover the perpetrators of this unfortunate event as soon as possible and sanction them accordingly, as well as to protect the property of all Serbian companies doing business in Bulgaria.
I would like to remind you that a large number of companies from Bulgaria invest and operate on Serbia’s territory and that they have never had any problems concerning their business or safety.
With the aim of further advancing our inter-state cooperation, as well as the cooperation between our ministries, I sincerely hope that you will inform me of the course of the investigation and measures taken to protect the property of Serbian companies”, reads Milosavljevic’s letter.
