Jeremic begins one-week visit to Far East

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Minister Vuk Jeremic will begin today a one-week visit to the Far East, during which he will visit China, Singapore and Malaysia.
The statement adds that Jeremic will be in Beijing together with President Tadic’s delegation and attend the opening of the Olympic Games, as well as meet with a number of his counterparts from all over the world.
He will acquaint his collocutors in Beijing with Belgrade’s stances on Kosovo and ask for their support for the resolution which Serbia will submit to the UN General Assembly in September, in which it demands the opinion of the International Court of Justice on Kosovo’s unilaterally proclaimed independence.
