VAB for information on new IDs, passports

The Serbian Ministry of Interior has announced that citizens will now be able to get basic information on biometric IDs and passports by dialling 0800-000092 free-of-charge.
The statement adds that this is a result of extensive cooperation between the Ministry and the telecommunications company Telekom Srbija, and adds that this number can be dialled from both landlines and Telekom’s mobile lines.
Thanks to the voice answer back (VAB) service, citizens who do not use the Internet can now faster and more easily get information on the stated documents by choosing one of the four options. This kind of VAB can be used by 30 citizens at once and is the first of the kind in Serbian institutions.
