He also said that the Serbian government will discuss draft law on tourism today.
Dimitrijevic said that in September the line ministry will work more intensively to complete the paper on strategic development of Serbian tourism, adding that the government will soon receive draft laws on spas, ski resorts, trade and protection of consumers.
Recalling that Serbia tourism revenues in 2003 stood at $170 million, the minister said approximately $250 million is expected this year, the Tanjug has reported.
He said that the results of the summer tourist season are better when compared to previous years although the season is not over and not all data have been collected yet.
More than 100 enterprises and entrepreneurs from Serbia-Montenegro, Hungary, Romania and Republika Srpska are present at the fair. The central event of the fair, which will close on Sept 5, is the signing of the cooperation agreement between the Regional Chamber of Commerce in Zrenjanin and the Veneto Regional Union of Chambers from Italy. The signing is scheduled for tomorrow.
