The viaduct on the Cacak-Uzice main road is 375 metres long and almost 25 years old, the Beta news agency reported.
Deputy Director of the Road Directorate Milan Matic announced that the Directorate will invest further €2.3 million in building the road network in the Cacak municipality.
Minister Ilic will also attend the signing of a document called “Framework for Cooperation” between the UN Habitat and the municipality of Cacak today. The cooperation includes a programme for assistance to refugees and their integration into local communities. It is based on the Serbian government’s poverty reduction strategy and financed from the Italian government’s €15 million donation.
As part of the implementation of the programme, the municipality of Cacak will start building apartments for the aged and disabled, based on a model and a project drafted by the Swiss Agency for Cooperation and Development.
