Boosting measures for traffic safety

First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Ivica Dacic called on his associates to improve the overall traffic safety by making the measures for traffic control stricter and returning the Bill on traffic safety to parliament’s agenda as soon as possible.

This is due to frequent traffic accidents in which many lives are lost every day on Serbian roads.
The Bill on traffic safety, which has been harmonised with current European regulations in this field, will apply positive experiences of other countries and it will facilitate the work of traffic police.
Dacic called on all those on the roads to respect the traffic rules and to show tolerance and understanding in different situations on the road. That way, they will protect their own lives and lives of other people.
