Results of project "Evaluation of health technologies"

Serbian Minister of Health Tomica Milosavljevic attended today in Belgrade an expert meeting dedicated to presentation of results of the project “Evaluation of health technologies“.
This project is a subcomponent of a project implemented by the Ministry of Health called "Development of Serbia’s health sector".
In the first phase of the project "Evaluation of health technologies", capacities have been built for implementation of the evaluation of health technologies, with the aim of improving the quality of health services, development and modernisation of a wide spectrum of standards, guides of good practice and the health care policy.
On the basis of results achieved so far in this project, the Ministry of Health has participated since 2006 in the European network for evaluation of health technologies, and the next phase of the project will deal with institutionalisation of evaluation of these technologies.
Serbian Assistant Minister of Health Elizabet Paunovic, Director of the project "Development of Serbia’s health sector" Sasa Rikanovic, Consultant for evaluation of health technologies Dragana Atanasijevic and international consultants Kristof Landa and Magdalena Bliharc spoke at this meeting, held at the Serbian Public Health Institute.
