The statement adds that due to frequent threats, the Ministry has taken all measures within its jurisdiction to additionally protect all members of the judiciary and remove the risks they are exposed to.
The Ministry also expects the competent public and state security services to provide full protection to all persons engaged in state affairs whose personal and professional integrity is in danger.
Serbia is on the right path to efficiently suppress even the severest forms of crime and to oppose those who attempt to disparage the work of the war crimes prosecution and other judiciary members.
The state has the strength and the will to uncover and severely punish the perpetrators of these acts, reads the statement and adds that the Ministry of Justice will keep providing full support to Vukcevic’s work and the work of all judges engaged in war crimes cases.
