Serbian Minister of Youth and Sports Snezana Samardzic-Markovic congratulated today Ana Ivanovic and Jelena Jankovic on their excellent performance in the semi-final of the French Open Roland Garros.
“Dear Ana and Jelena, thank you for the joy which you have brought to us with your game and your attitude on the tennis court throughout the championship. You have represented your country in the best possible light and shown that Serbia has reason to be proud – proud of its hardworking, persistent and successful young people. I am proud of you,” reads the Minister’s message of congratulations.
