The National Council for Cooperation with the International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia (ICTY) held its session today and passed decisions to send documentation and responses to the Hague tribunal’s prosecution, in line with its three requests, for the purposes of this court’s proceedings.
Five requests by the defence, which referred to documentation needed for the preparation of indictees’ defence before the ICTY, were also granted.
In the upcoming period, the council will hold regular sessions every second week and will duly respond to requests both by the prosecution and defence at the ICTY.
