Protest note sent to Czech Republic

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a protest note today to the government of the Czech Republic for recognising the unilateral proclamation of independence by Kosovo-Metohija.
According to a statement issued by the Foreign Ministry, Minister Jeremic has recommended urgent recall of Serbian Ambassador to the Czech Republic Vladimir Veres, in accordance with the Foreign Ministry’s action plan adopted by the Serbian government.
The ambassador must leave the host country within 48 hours after delivering the protest note and return to Serbia for consultations, concludes the statement.
