The government decided to amend the Decree on the electrical power tariff system. The change refers to extension of the “green zone” from 300 to 350 kWh per month, which will reduce the electrical power bills by approximately 70 dinars.
The government also analysed the macroeconomic and fiscal trends in Serbia in the January-June period.
The government gave its approval to the decision of the Serbian Pension and Disability Insurance Fund regarding the base for pension and disability insurance for persons who pay the compulsory insurance.
The government also adopted the Report on the implementation of a special social programme for the use of budgetary funds for social protection for the January-June 2004 period.
The government approved 700 million dinars to the National Employment Service and a further 7.5 million dinars for financing an exhibition of the Stedilijk museum from Amsterdam, the Netherlands, and the participation of Serbian publishers in the international book fair in Frankfurt, Germany.
The government decided to award Olivera Jevtic with €7,000 for special contribution to the development and promotion of sport. Jevtic won the sixth place in the Olympic marathon in Athens.
Also as part of the session, the government adopted changes and amendments to the Decree on the sale of capital and property at public auctions and gave consent to the 2004 business plan of the national airline company Jat Airways.
