Government ready to successfully conclude cooperation with Hague Tribunal

Serbian Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic met today with Hague Tribunal’s Chief Prosecutor Serge Brammertz and underlined Serbia’s readiness to successfully conclude cooperation with the Tribunal.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs states that Jeremic acquainted Brammertz with the discontent in Serbia which followed the decision to acquit former commander of the Kosovo Liberation Army Ramus Haradinaj, and informed him that the Serbian authorities expect the prosecution to appeal the case.
Jeremic stressed that all perpetrators of war crimes from the territory of the former Yugoslavia must be taken to court and extradited to the Hague Tribunal.
