The Serbian Ministry of Diaspora appealed today to all Serbian citizens to help in the campaign to increase voter turnout abroad.
According to a statement issued by the ministry, Serbian citizens have been requested to remind their family, friends and acquaintances abroad to register on the electoral roll in order to vote on May 11.
Registration can be done by post, email, fax or in person, and the list of email addresses of embassies and consulates is available on the
website of the Ministry of Diaspora.
It is estimated that the number of Serbian citizens living abroad who are eligible to vote is more than half a million, and only 40,000 have registered on the electoral roll, concludes the statement.
