Information adopted on elections in Kosovo-Metohija

The Serbian government at its session today adopted the Information on organising and holding parliamentary and local elections in Kosovo-Metohija which are scheduled to take place on May 11, 2008.
Decrees were passed at the session on the distribution of incentive funds for rural development programmes in 2008, and on amendments to the Decree on the registration of agricultural farms.
The government adopted the Information on providing funds to social work centres in Kosovska Mitrovica, Zubin Potok, Strpce, Leposavic, Ranilug, Priluzje, Gracanica and Srbica for the distribution of one-off monetary assistance to the most vulnerable groups.
The Information on the need of allocating a one-time grant to the underprivileged in the municipality of Novi Pazar was adopted at the session.
The government adopted the Programme on the use and distribution of funds for buildings and construction facilities for 2008.
The government approved the business plan of the public water management company Srbijavode for 2008, as well as the business plan and financial plan for 2008 of the Agency for Spatial Planning.
