A statement by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs reads that Macedonia has carried out an act contrary to international norms and provisions of the bilateral Agreement on the border line signed in 2001, by choosing to start demarcation of the border line with representatives of Pristina, who do not have the legitimacy and are not authorised to carry out such activities.
Furthermore, Macedonia has deviated from the Agreement on the Regulation of Relations and Promotion of Cooperation signed in 1996, according to which the two sides are obliged to respect territorial integrity and sovereignty.
Proceeding from the fact that Macedonia has acted in flagrant violation of international norms, the UN Charter and the bilateral agreement on borders, Serbia will raise this question before the UN.
