Government agrees for Horgos-Pozega contract to remain in effect

The Serbian government adopted at its session today the Information on the concession contract for the construction of the Horgos-Pozega motorway on the need for the contract, concluded on March 30, 2007, to remain in effect after March 31, 2008.
The government as concession grantor agrees that the concession contract for the construction of the Horgos-Pozega motorway, concluded on March 30, 2007, will remain in effect after March 31, 2008, which obliges the concessionaire to fulfil the financial conditions set earlier, according to the contract.
The government as concession grantor agrees that activities begun under the contract should be harmonised with this conclusion, and obligations under Article 24.7 of the contract should be met with at the latest by June 30, 2008.
