€40m to be invested in Ski Centre Brezovica in the next three years

The Serbian Ministry of Economy and Regional Development stated today that at the Ministry’s proposal, the Serbian government consented to set up a limited liability company Ski Centre Brezovica.
The statement adds that the company will be founded by public company Skijalista Srbije and Inex Fund, as part of the action plan for Kosovo-Metohija.
Since these two companies will administer the tourist complex on Mt Brezovica, they are to draft a detailed action plan stating the order of future activities of the Ski Centre Brezovica, as well as a detailed three-year investment plan.
The role of the Inex Fund is non-financial and consists of immovable property comprising hotels and tourist facilities on Brezovica – hotels Narcis, Breza and Molika and the accompanying infrastructure.
Apart from the three hotels which can accommodate several thousand tourists, Inex Ski Centre Brezovica also has nine ski lifts and ski tracks up to 2,500 metres above see level.
Based on an insight into the assets, the tourism sector of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development and the Serbian Privatisation Agency have drafted an investment plan for Brezovica worth €40 million, which will be invested in the next three years, adds the statement.
