Protest note sent to Norway for recognising independent Kosovo

The Serbian Ministry of Foreign Affairs sent a protest note today to the Norwegian government regarding its recognition of unilateral independence declared by Kosovo-Metohija.
The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Minister of Foreign Affairs Vuk Jeremic, in line with the government’s action plan, immediately recalled Serbian Ambassador to Norway Vladislav Mladenovic.
The Ambassador is to leave the host country within 48 hours after delivering the protest note and return to Belgrade for consultations until further notice, the statement adds.
