Nation is proud of Cavic

Serbian Prime Minister Vojislav Kostunica met this evening with European swimming champion Milorad Cavic and said that Cavic’s wonderful victory in Eindhoven has united the nation and made it proud.
Kostunica said that on the occasion of his splendid victory the European swimming champion showed the entire world our most valuable truth – Kosovo is Serbia.
With this victory Milorad Cavic has united the nation and made it proud. Serbia with its victories, justice and truth will fight for Kosovo, said the Prime Minister.
He presented Cavic with the Serbian flag, with the wish that he may win an Olympic medal and raise the Serbian flag on the victory stand in Beijing.
European swimming champion Cavic said that after the race when he saw that he has broken the European record, he made the decision to state the truth on the victory stand that Kosovo is Serbia.
Cavic stressed that this is a great honour for him and he will continue to fight and win for Serbia.
